Instagram one of the most popular photo sharing app that announced its plans for android, last week. It’s been an iPhone only app from last 2-3 years and has more than 27 million users.
The app had a huge success with its iOS only app and has been growing like crazy. The company, has two people working on the android version from last few months. Last week, systrom said that “The android app is better then iOS in some ways”.
Today, the company put an sign up page for its new Android users to be the first in line.
The sign up page asks for your email to be first line, but they didn’t gave any launch date. I guess, the company would be launching an beta version, sometime in next month before they launch it in the Google Play store.
The page doesn’t any information or launch date, on the page. It just asks, “Want to be first in line for Instagram on Android?” and lets users enter their email address.
